We are searching for a motivated person. This position entails helping with the development of conceptual designs, design development and construction documents for a wide variety of projects. Travel for work may be necessary.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of an undergraduate degree in landscape architecture.
A minimum of two to five years of experience in the field of landscape architecture.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (MicroStation is a plus).
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Rhino, Lumion and SketchUp would be useful.
Experience preparing construction documents including specifications and estimating.
Knowledge of irrigation design is a definite plus.
Responsibilities:
Be able to legally work in California.
Possess a valid California Driver’s license.
Be respectful and courteous to coworkers and clients.
Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
Expectations:
Work independently and self-directed.
Work full time (40 hours per week) with possible occasional overtime.
Must be able to work closely with staff and project managers to produce documents and deliverables.
Effectively communicate with team members through multiple channels (Phone, Email, etc.)
Help with the production and coordination of drawings and specifications, including consultant coordination.
Be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
Work independently or with a design team to complete projects.
Attending virtual and possibly physical, project coordination meetings.
Attending site visits.
